One of the great things about loving God and being in the wilderness is that we know that the wonders we see were created by the same One who saved us from death and offers us a vibrant relationship with Himself every day.
Every time I see a gurgling waterfall, with the moss clinging to the damp rocks and stones along its course… I know God made it out of the creativity of His heart.
When I stumble across a wildflower, smaller than my pinky nail, but so intricately formed…
Or discover the shifting hues of each petal… I know God made it out of the creativity of His heart.
When my jaw drops as the canyon sweeps away below me…
When the rocks tower over my head in shades of gold and orange, red and purple, into the bluest of blue skies… I know God made it out of the creativity of His heart.
As the oceans crash against the storeline, and foaming green water rushes back where it came from… I know God made it out of the creativity of His heart.
And as I look out of the multiple peaks of mountain range after mountain range, with snowcapped peaks, sheer thousand foot cliffs, and peaceful green valleys… I can’t help but think, God made this out of the creativity of His heart.
God made the earth out of the creativity of His heart, and it’s what we get to encounter as His children living on earth.
