Wildflowers around Spring Lake in the Flat Tops Wilderness of Colorado

“…while the morning stars sang together and the angels shouted for joy” (38:7, NIV)

There was joy in heaven when God created the beauty of the earth.

I believe God and those with Him still have great joy over what God created.
“[The multitude in heaven said] You have created all things, and by your pleasure they exist and were created.” (Revelation 4:11, ABPE)

If it’s by God’s pleasure that the world was created, and He still revels in His creation, I find it a natural outcome that those who are born of His Spirit would also be drawn to the things that bring Him joy – the natural world, but also His other creations, including mankind, made in God’s image.
“The Lord your God is with you… He will have much joy over you. With His love He will give you new life. He will have joy over you with loud singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17, NLV)
